The coloration of the sand dunes makes them beautiful and the hot showers in the campground make the stay that much more pleasant.&nbsp; This is a major destination for ATV enthusiasts.&nbsp; For those looking for peace and quiet, weekdays are the better bet.&nbsp; This Utah State Park is only about an hour (40 miles) from the visitor center at Zion\u2019s. If you can\u2019t get into the State Park, there are two Bureau of Land Management campgrounds nearby.&nbsp; I haven\u2019t visited them, but understand that they are more rustic, but also very cheap. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"427\" height=\"285\" src=\"http:\/\/memmott.us\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/08\/MG_9563.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-5220\" srcset=\"http:\/\/memmott.us\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/08\/MG_9563.jpg 427w, http:\/\/memmott.us\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/08\/MG_9563-300x200.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 427px) 100vw, 427px\" \/><figcaption>Our Campsite in 2016<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>The State of Utah has a <a href=\"https:\/\/stateparks.utah.gov\/parks\/coral-pink\/\">website for the park<\/a>, with a video that&#8217;s worth watching (and not much else).
